My group opted to create a stop-motion video to the song Deceptacon by Le Tigre. We liked the fast pace and loudness of the song and wanted to depict an environment that reflected this energy. Throughout the video is a storyline depicting a cat running from a taxi with eyes, but for the most part, each scene is as random and fun as can be while still maintaining a cohesive color palette and city aesthetic. For most of the video, we used the red, yellow, and green of a traffic light to guide our style and make it more cohesive. We explored methods of stop-motion as well as digital editing and creation throughout the process. The goal was to be as unexpected and creative as possible!
