I'm Isabel, a junior in my second year studies of Visual Communication Design, minoring in Computer + Information Science and Creative Writing. I am a forward thinker passionate about the prevalence and evolution of technology in the modern world. As a designer, I tend toward the practice of combining old techniques with new elements and styles. I love bright, striking colors reined in with classic design practices and principles to guide them. Post graduation, I hope to enter the UI/UX field to create applications that stand the test of time in a dynamic world, prioritizing the user over monetization.

Narrative is the unsung hero of design--the ways in which we communicate information can vastly shape the way in which it is interpreted. My studies in creative writing have assisted me in this way, being able to tell a story through different media, whether it is written word or illustrative design.
